2011 GMC Acadia Oil Change smae goes for the Chevy Traverse, Saturn Outl...

In this video I am changing the oil and filter on my GMC Acadia.  It is a simple enough task but messy if you are not prepared. I think it is the same as the Chevy Traverse, the Buick Enclave the Saturn Outlook and Others.  Get a filter and 5 quarts of oil and this a simple process to halp you save a lot of money.  The local lube places want a 100 dollars to check and do this and do that and lube this and lube that.  It a lot simpler than all that.

Wood Turning an Ice Cream Scoop Handle using a Hybrid Burl Blank

In this wood Turning video I tackle a handle for an Ice Cream scoop.  I start with a very cool blank called a hybrid burl blank.  It is made using a piece of Elm Burl that has been stabilized and infused with a green dye and cactus juice resin.  This process hardens the wood and gives it an amazing color.  Then the wood is cast with a dark blue alumilite resin.  The final piece in a combination of elm burl wood and dark blue plastic resin.  These blanks are amazing and fun to work with.
